Well I am reeling from a great day at the February Boutique Markets, held on Valentine's Day. The hearts I made looked good on the stall, but ended around on my daughters' necks. But the bangles were a hit. (Actually I think it was the new display system I created from stuff at Reverse Garbage and old supermaket boxes. OK, so the material was new, but that is all. And they were resting on two other foam pads covered with a nightie! Just our secret though.)
I found that customers were able to pick over the bangles looking at individual ones in a colour or shape. It was great to watch and something that was missing from "the sticks".

Probably marking the bangles down was a good move too "it's only $20" was a comment I heard a couple of times. Now that I am quicker at sanding, it is something that will help my sales.
